ReplyDeleteShame on the producers of "Sundowners" for allowing such poor clichéd characterisations of a hard working, often impoverished occupational group that puts up with entitled, privileged tourists like the males in this - hesitate to call - movie. If you like Seth Rogen, "Bad Boys II" and "Superbad", then watch "Sundowners".

ReplyDeleteMovie made in 1990 and saw it then and watched it again tonight, 2017. It was then and still remains, a great movie with a great storyline. Not to mention all the actors towards the beginning of their careers that did a great job themselves. I'm anxious to see the remake which comes out later this year or early next year.
